A giant leap forward for our terrain-conquering classic. The Johnny Treklite Bloom features a Rise by Bloom sole made with repurposed algae, in a process which cleans waterways and creates fresh air for our planet. Tootsies stay toasty thanks to a cosy brushed microfleece lining, while the water-resistant, lace-up upper - made with corn-derived Susterra - keeps feet dry no matter how many puddles you jump.

What is Bloom?
An innovative footwear solution made with repurposed algae biomass, Rise by Bloom is engineered to replace a percentage of plastic polymer typically used for making conventional EVA shoes. Bloom’s process simultaneously sweeps our lakes and freshwater ecologies of overly abundant algae growth, transforming undesirable excess into an environmentally sound product. The same manufacturing process locks away CO2 and purifies 50 cubic meters (50m3) of air for a cleaner, healthier ecosystem.
These two types - Treklite and Fitzsimmon are my favourite shoes ever. I love how durable and environmentally friendly these are. The colours are gorgeous too.
I had a purple pair of Fitzsimmons that lasted 6 years! During that time i hiked in Canada, France and New Zealand. I'm just waiting until Native makes more colourful Fitzsimmons again...
