“Visible access to diversity and belonging” defines community and togetherness for Tré, Aisha and Rakim. Born and raised in Jamaica, Tré works in fashion merchandising when not hitting the pool with 7 year-old Rakim. Partner Aisha is mom to Rakim, and works as a project developer on a program bringing diversity in early literacy to the public school system.

As a unit, Tré, Aisha and Rakim value creativity and the opportunity to make individual contributions to the family. In Aisha’s words, “the uniqueness we retain while we’re together, we support each other in our individuality.” Amidst afternoons spent skateboarding and enjoying a good Lucky’s Donut – there’s one thing in particular they love to do together – and that’s shopping. A shared love of fashion brings these three together, with Rakim’s savvy sense of style leading the way.
