Art Basel hit Miami last weekend—and so did we. We joined the Global Art Fair and co-hosted a party at Grand Opening Gallery in the artsy neighborhood of Wynwood. The event celebrated a super-exclusive run of Fitzsimmons, created in collaboration with multimedia artist and gallery co-owner Jason Wess.
Art Basel hit Miami last weekend—and so did we. We joined the Global Art Fair and co-hosted a party at Grand Opening Gallery in the artsy neighborhood of Wynwood. The event celebrated a super-exclusive run of Fitzsimmons, created in collaboration with multimedia artist and gallery co-owner Jason Wess.
The Collaboration
When multimedia artist and Grand Opening Gallery co-owner, Jason Wess, approached our art-loving co-founder, Tom Claypool, about collaborating on a custom line of Fitzsimmons for this event, the connection felt kismet. Jason also owns a clothing line brandished with the message “don’t give up.” A phrase inspired by his mom’s advice that, to him, means “finding a way when you thought there wasn’t a way.” His brand of positivity and empowerment is the throughline in all of his work—and something that really resonates with our purpose: Live Lightly™.
