All timer Robbie! These are kids’ second pairs of Robbie shoes and yes we love them. They have more rooms on side and top of the feet compared to Jefferson. Of course waterproof, durable and comfortable AND it’s got the style! My 6yo got a black pair and it suits with any occasion. Even for church service or wedding.

Q: We've loved the Jeffersons for years now, but my son is currently between two sizes (C10 and 11). Would Robbie fit a tiny bit shorter from front to back, by any chance?

The Jefferson and the Robbie are designed for the same narrow and long fit. However we do have free returns in Canada and the US, within 30 days for Regular Priced items provided they are unworn, with the tags attached, and shoebox intact, if you wanted to try a pair on!

Q: Do children seem to have issues with these staying on their feet while running/walking around? I worry about issues with gate/hips if they are having to change how they walk to keep them on.

You shouldn't see issues with the Robbie's staying on your little one's feet as long as they are the proper size. For the ideal fit we recommend approximately just under one finger of wiggle room along the sides of the shoe. 💙

Robbie is an awesome shoe for all adventures, however, we'd advise caution on more slippery surfaces as the material (EVA) is not certified non-slip.
That being said, lots of people do enjoy them by the pool or at the cottage, so it would be up to you to use your discretion depending on what you would like to use them for. They are a great shoe and you are sure to love them!
