My big idea is to help the Koalas because of all the forest fires destroying their habitats. The shoe would be white with grey Koala faces. The sole would have green Eucalyptus leaves. I hope I win because Koalas don't have voices and need to be heard by someone.

#whatifwecreated - What if we created a world where community was collaborative & celebrated at even the earliest age? ... What if we created a true visual representation of what people can do together to bring change to their city, here and now! What if.. What if every town had a wall, a wall that was home to a giant digital coloring page - a coloring page that rotated monthly with messages of hope, love, peace, and call to action. Each new page would also come with a new initiative - let’s recycle, collect canned food, host a blanket drive, gather supplies, whatever the need may be, in that town, at that moment! ...what happens when you contribute to the cause? (through an on-site collection case nearby) ...you’d be given a timed access to an area of the giant coloring page - a little token of gratitude and moment of self expression for your good deed that would slowly fill up completely as your community reached its goals - making your neighborhood more colorful while also showing just how easy and rewarding it can be to give back, and collaborate together! WHAT IF ...what if this creative & collective community drive for change REALLY existed? What if we all strived to foster and instill community in our youth? What if? This is our submission for the Crayola x Native #whatifwecreated challenge, check it out and tell us your big idea 🖍🌈 If we won, we’d donate our win to @celebraterva, an amazing organization that brings joy to under privileged youth in our local #rva community every day - because every child to be celebrated and they’re making it happen - we’d love to help💓

Use 100% recycled materials to create lockers for the homeless. Homeless people need a place to store important documents. Their valuables like ID, passport or social security cards are easily lost or stolen. Which prevents them from getting jobs, housing or benefits. One locker can be used as a sharps bin for needles or other contaminants.

What if we made homes for animals out of plants, dirt, and grass? Animals barely have anywhere to live due to buildings being put up. They need places to stay. So how about we make homes for them to keep the environment and buildings still up?

Hi, I’m Lizzy! I’m a Florida based artist who’s inspired by the ocean, data, bright colors, magical thinking, abstraction and change. So, I saw this contest and it got me thinking, about donations, reality, magic, coloring outside the lines and most importantly; change. What if I could create anything? What if I could help make a change and work towards protecting the reefs alongside my art? So, here’s my idea. What if we created a solution to save the dying reefs? What if a team of scientists, artists and healers found a magic cure to bring these beautiful creatures back to life, while re-planting new ones? What if I built a small sustainable submarine and could take every single politician and policy maker on a ride below the horizon to witness these underwater worlds, and then every one of them could see how beautiful and in threat these creatures are? What if every person in power could form a bond and connection with these animals? Maybe more laws would change that would lead to carbon emissions decreasing, solving the pollution crisis, the end of overfishing, and budget increases to fields of art and science. Would our reefs would have a chance of thriving once again? It takes a village and I’m optimistic we can make a change if we continue thinking outside the box and through the lens of color, beauty and the unknown. What if the worlds reefs could continuing protecting and sustaining us land creatures like they have been, for centuries to come?
