What is Wanderfoam?

Wanderfoam™ is a signature cushioning technology, used in the midsoles and uppers of nearly every adult shoe in our lineup. It’s engineered for softness and flexibility, with little to no break-in period, and built to accommodate a wide range of foot shapes and widths. Because what’s on the inside that counts.

What Wanderfoam™ Is Made For

Wanderfoam™ is formulated to do three things at once:

Fit inclusively — it comfortably flexes around a broader range of foot shapes, sizes, and widths than a standard midsole foam.

Reduce break-in time — in wear testing with 500 participants, Wanderfoam™ delivered a 90% reduction in break-in period compared to prior midsole materials, with zero blisters.

Integrate with bio-based construction — it’s built to bond and perform alongside Sugarlite™ and Bloom, our existing bio-based foam materials, without compromising the shoe’s overall sustainability profile.

The Problem It Solves

Foot shapes vary, and most midsole foams force a trade-off. Make it soft enough to feel good on day one, and it usually can’t hold up structurally; make it firm enough to last, and it takes weeks to break in.
