Gently hand wash in room temperature water with some dish soap (we find Dawn does a great job)
If your shoes are overdue for a wash (read: super dirty), we suggest making a mixture of baking soda and water or vinegar and water, rubbing the paste over the shoes and very gently rubbing it in with a cloth
Rinse off the mixture with water

Dry your boots and remove surface dirt with a soft-bristled brush
Remove the insole
Run lukewarm water over the outer surface of the shoe
Using a cloth or soft-bristled brush and mild dish soap, brush the dirt off in gentle circular motions
Rinse under warm water and repeat until the material is clean and the soap is rinsed away
Pat off excess water with a towel and set aside to air dry away from direct sunlight and heat
